“Purple Hydrangea” Postcard Print

$7.00

I was asked to paint an acrylic piece on an object up close, the only problem is remaining consistent over many sessions with acrylics, and no colour formula. Instead of consistency, I chose to create texture and movement. it was easier to use the wall I kept on ramming my head into trying to do the easier technique.

Hydrangea’s represent home to me. I grew up with them outside the front my house. Growing up alongside myself, I watched how the bright petals would turn yellow in the autumn.

Time will always move people around, but I will always be brought home at the sight of a hydrangea.
