The Blue Mountains
My cousin took me hiking through Australia when I went over to visit, and on our exploration we stood at the top of a cliff and saw the blue mountains at the beginning of sunset.
The mountains in the distance truly became blue because of how vast the wideness expanded. The blue mountains were all that was seen without end, it was sublime in its expansive blue haze. A story worthy of being told.
The watercolour elicits the aesthetic of an old storybook, and these tales of my exploration reflect in this aesthetic. It feels like a far away land where magic exists, and where stories have yet to be told.
