A painting of a lavender field with purple flowers stretching across the landscape and an old wooden barn in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

Lavender Field

What does peace mean to you?

To me, peace is made, rather than “found”. Peace is grown. Like the many rows of lavender, peace requires dedication and thoughtfulness. Where to place each species of lavender to yield the best results for the plant. How to paint the field, showing that effort is not so overwhelming. That effort is beautiful.

Peace is a craft, not a destination.
