Golden Sky
I was told when I was eleven that purple and yellow should never be blended together, unless for a shadow, or something grey.
With the leftover paint on my palette I made this golden sky that reminded me of dusk crawling in through midsummers dry heat. But, I used the wrong colours. I thought I would be told off.
Twelve years later, and I am finally learning not to take on the limitations others place for themselves.
